finally - somethng that works
i'm a 38 year old female who has had trouble with mild acne since the age of about 13. i've tried antibiotics, retin A, roaccutaine, dalacin, red and blue light treatment... the works. a chemical peel i had last summer caused a a terrible flare up and outbreaks everywhere as my skin is incredibly sensitive, and eventually my dermatologist said i was just one of the unlicky 5% with persistent acne and skin too sensitive for many treatments.
the problem is, although my acne is mild (3 - 5 spots at any one time# the dark marks and post inflamatory hyper pigmentation that is left by each and every spot gives my skin a damaged and mottled look that requires makeup every day.
i am 5 weeks into reaura and i have to report amazing things. even my most persistent dark marks are showing a noticeable fading. my skin is getting brighter and more even and i am noticing a general glow. strangely i haven't had a fresh breakout #though i don't know if this is due to reaura) ... so the results are looking promising.
i have really sensitive skin, but i am fine on the strongest setting in terms of sensation. my upper lip is the only place where it feels a little much, but we're still talking totally manageable. i go red and have a tingly sunburn sensation, but by the time i wake up in the morning all redness is gone and i am fine to be seen in public. on occasion my skin has felt a little rough and dry a day or so after a treatment, but nothing unmanageable.
after trying pretty much everything available i reckon i have found a product in Reaura that finally works to brighten my skin and help regenerate some of the damaged areas... and all without harsh chemicals. 20 minutes twice a week is well worth the effort. Thanks Philips!!!

Worth every penny
I have recently come to the end of my 8 week treatment and have been amazed by the results, not only myself but friends, family and colleagues have mentioned how well my skin looks in terms of radiance and the over all appearance looking much smoother.
To be honest at first I was a little unsure about buying a laser for home use but once I had a consultation and went through everything I felt more confident. Philips have worked alongside fraxel so I was assured it was completely safe to use at home and also shown pictures taken from previous users in a leaflet.
My first time I went very red and took me a whie to read through all instructions, my second time I felt more at ease as I knew what expect when using Reaura.
I would highly recommend this it gives fantastic results, or at least it dd for me and I'm in my 40's.

So far so good
Well I have only been using this for 3 weeks so far so I'll write another review at the end. I was very apprehensive about using it: 1. Pain and 2. Redness!
I tried it on the back of my hand first and it seemed quite sore. That put me off using it on my face for a few days. When I plucked up the courage it really was OK. I'm not sure if it hurts less after a few treatments or if you get use to it? So I'm still using it on level 2 but level 3 this week. I believe my skin is already looking plumper but it is difficult to be objective.
I haven't told anyone that I have bought a reaura as my husband would raise his eyebrows at the cost and to my friends, it would just confirm to them that I have a problem with getting older!
My husband has never noticed the redness, even when I did it one morning whilst he was out shopping and came back 2 hours later. There again I have gone from brunette to dark blonde and he never noticed. If you do it in the evening (level 2) you will be fine in the morning for work.
So level 3 this week. I have my daughter and her family staying so she will be much more observant. Haven't had any compliments yet but I'm hopeful very soon.

it works for me
I am a first time user and going into the 4th week of the full circle.
It takes a few practice to use it (with the help of the enclosed CD). I find in general it's easy to use except the nose and the forehead area.
The skin would feel pain after the treatment and very reddish. The pain is bearable to me. One suppose to wash away right after the treatment and I find cool water really help to the pain.
The pain disappear within 2 to 3 hours and skin feel tight and dry. The aftercare cream do work for me right after the treatment and in between. (I did try other rich cream in between treatments but the cream is better)
The reddish would gone in another pain. So beware if you plan anything special.
At the first 3rd week plan (not now), a lots of micro skin would appear and I could gentle rub them off. The treatment do recommend user to use exfoliator.
As a whole I find my skins feel brighter. So I would say it works for me. Beware it would not help wrinkles and pores (I do have old tired uneven tone pores skin).
My plan is to finish the whole 8th week course and have a break for 1 to 2 weeks then I think I would start again.
One thing did concern me would be the cost of those 2 laser lotion and cream. It cost £45 plus postage and in UK, only one supplier and I suppose the cost would go up and up.

A clinic treatment in your own home.
I purchased the ReAura after seeing the benifits of this treatment when visiting my dermatologist for laser skin procedures.
I have been hoping for some time now that someone would develop a laser treatment that could be used at home, and now they have.
I run my own business and can't always get to a clinic, or afford time off for any down time.
This machine is everything I was looking for.
Results show after the first few treatments; firmer, smoother skin and a softening of lines. After my second batch of eight treatments, even a couple of deep lines are responding.
I would recommend having a couple of weeks off between each period of eight treatments, and don't worry if your skin looks a little blotchy after treatment, this soon fades and shows the machine is working.
Eventually, the machine pays for itself because of less need to visit a clinic or buy expensive creams that do not work.
This actually changes the skin, so not just a temporary 'plumping.'

The Reaura produces subtle but visible changes
The Philips Reaura takes a little getting used to, but after a few sessions it gets quicker and easier to use. I have sensitive skin, so continued to find it fairly uncomfortable right through to the final sessions. My skin always turned quite red, but as I know this is because the laser is working, I didn't mind.
For the first few weeks, my skin felt quite rough after treatment, but never dry. I didn't have any pigmentation issues. The laser aftercare complex felt amazing on my skin and sank straight in, which was a great feeling when my skin was feeling hot and sore. After about 4-5 sessions, I noticed that the little bumps under my skin on my forehead disappeared. The lines round my eyes are definitely less obvious, but I'm not sure if the deep line on my left cheek is really any less -it depends on the light and time of day! My skin seems plumper which is an unexpected bonus. I'd love it to work on the lines around my top lip, but I found it quite painful to use there, so probably didn't treat the area well enough to get a result.
Overall, I'm pleased to be using the Reaura and will start to use it next on my neck.

Having finished the 8 weeks treatment and the 2 weeks rest i am now in the second week of the next treatment. The results so far are truly amazing plumped up skin reduced deep wrinkles and fine lines very much reduced. I had quite deep wrinkles on my cheeks when I smiled and these have diminished by 80%. My skin tone is more even and people are commenting on how well I look. I am very impressed by how the deep wrinkles in my cheeks seem to have almost disappeared. The lines around my eyes are so much more not noticeable and my skin looks radiant and healthy. So many people have said that I have been to a Spa or have been on holiday and all I can say that it my secret. I have pictures before treatment and after as proof so anyone wanting to see real proof can contact me.

Easy to use, and quick results.
As a 28 year old woman, I wasnt looking for a wrinkle cure, just some life back in to my skin after a long cold Winter. I had begun to get dry patches and clogged pores from all the climate change and lack of sun. I tried Reora and from the first time, I noticed a difference in my skin.
The reora is fairly easy to use, though it takes some time to get the skin contact to hold and the speed correct, after a couple of treatments it was fine. I started off on the mild setting and was suprised that it wasn't more painful. My skin afterwards was red and felt a little sun-burnt but it had that nice tingling feel like something was working. The next day my face felt a little dry to the touch but not visably at all, infact, I could see that my skin was a little tighter and looked fresher.
After that, I moved up to the higher level settings and continued to notice a difference in tone, pore size and taughtness of my skin.
I used Reora for the reccommended 8 weeks on my face and am looking forward to my next course in time for the summer.
