In stroke care, a lot of time is lost during stroke diagnosis and in activating the stroke team for treatment. Inefficient systems and inconclusive studies slow every step of the process. The good news: we are making progress to speed up diagnosis and get patient data wherever needed. Our solutions focus on sharing data across caregivers and improving workflow efficiency to help you get eligible stroke patients to treatment on time.
During stroke diagnosis, valuable time is wasted on inefficient imaging processes and unnecessary repeat scans. We aim to automate imaging processes so you can provide fast high-quality imaging results to drive timely and confident diagnostic decisions. Our solutions support end-to-end sharing so all stroke team members have timely access to diagnostic stroke results.
100% of exams deliver spectral results with detector-based spectral CT
Spectral CT 7500
CT is the primary imaging modality in an emergency department for patients with stroke or traumatic brain injury. Image quality of neurology scans is of primary importance to identify neurological disorders. Spectral results such as monoenergetic images, iodine maps and Z-effective images are delivered 100% of the time. They provide improved image quality through enhanced grey/white matter differentiation and reduction in beam hardening artifact, as well as additional information to support a differential diagnosis.
CT Brain Perfusion
This application automatically calculates and generates qualitative and quantitative information which may help you determine areas of reduced cerebral blood flow,1 aiding identification of salvageable tissue in acute stroke. Results can be shared via email2 for convenient reviewing.
Philips SmartSpeed4
SmartSpeed delivers fast high-quality imaging for a wider range of patients supporting 97% of current clinical MR protocols5. It utilizes Compressed SENSE speed engine and an award-wining AI algorithm applied directly at the MR reconstruction chain to increase MRI department productivity with up to 3 times faster scans and to provide outstanding image quality with 65% higher resolution3.
Bring confidence to your MR stroke exam
A variety of MR Neuro applications help you to deliver a confident diagnosis, including EPI and TSE Diffusion, T2* Perfusion, Susceptibility Weighted Imaging (SWIp), Black Blood Imaging, 3D Arterial Spin Labelling (ASL), and 4D-TRANCE.
Collaboration with Nicolab7
Receive notifications of suspected LVOs and access patient data anytime, anywhere. Seamlessly connect all hospitals & physicians in your network.
StrokeViewer includes a zero-footprint mobile DICOM viewer, certified for diagnostic use, that enables you to easily assess all type scans using AI.
StrokeViewer reduces the 20% initial undetected LVOs8, while contributing to reduced time to treatment9 and well-informed treatment decisions.
The Chat functionality in StrokeViewer immediately helps Stroke teams align and collaborate across their entire stroke network. Users can securely communicate regarding a patient's treatment plan, helping to save time and maintain the highest security standards.
