With extensive experience in the healthcare sector and several years in senior leadership roles at Philips, Juha brings a strong track record of driving business growth, leading complex transformations, and advancing customer-centric health technology solutions across the region. “Juha’s deep knowledge of Philips, combined with his broad experience in health technology and strong leadership capabilities, make him exceptionally well suited to lead Philips in the Nordics,” said Clara Sattler, Leader Europe Region, Philips. “His appointment underscores our commitment to strengthening partnerships with customers and continuing to improve people’s health and well-being across the region.”
With a strong background in health technology, Juha has worked closely with healthcare providers to support the transition toward more connected, data-driven, and sustainable care models. His leadership style is characterized by a deep understanding of clinical environments, strategic execution, and a strong commitment to people and culture.
In addition to his corporate leadership experience, Juha is a Captain in the Finnish Reserve Military, reflecting his long-standing dedication to leadership, responsibility, and service. He also serves as Chairman of the Board at Sailab, a Finnish health technology and diagnostics association, a role he has held since December 2025.
As Managing Director for Philips Nordics, Juha will be responsible for driving the company’s strategy across the Nordic markets, strengthening customer partnerships, and further advancing Philips’ mission to improve people’s health and well-being through meaningful innovation.
