USB-flash-drev

Jammer!

I am an IT Pro, if you need to rely on a device do not buy this. Had just under one year, it was always hit and miss if it would work. One day it would work in all PCs the next not at all. I now have a device that does not work at all, I can not see it in Linux, Mac or Windows. Unlike the competition Philips do not supply repair software. My device is showing as "no media" in windows and "not an MTP device" in Linux. It is not possible to even format the drive.

I like the size and design but this memory stick is really picky about which usb ports it works in. It works in about 50% of computers and sometimes even works in one of the usb ports on a computer but not another on the same machine. Makes it kind of worse than useless.
